Come visit Tiana Tebelman and I at our Saturday sessions on "What to do when Group Work Isn't Working" and "Shifting the Cognitive Load through Geometric Transformations."

I have been teaching 8th grade math at Vista Magnet Middle School for 6 years and I enjoy challenging my students through collaborative learning and sparking their mathematical curiosity!

As a Math For America San Diego Alumni I was trained in DNR instruction with Gershon Harel. I was also fortunate to have received training in Complex Instruction and Growth Mindset with Jo Boaler. Last summer Tiana and I taught at the Youcubed Summer Math Camp at Stanford University.
