I am a long-time math educator with interests in algebraic thinking and reasoning, mathematical modeling, curriculum development, technology and literature in the math classroom, and student motivation and engagement. I have my PhD in mathematics education, and my book, "Modeling with Mathematics: Authentic Problem Solving in Middle School" was published by Heinemann in 2015.
