145: Counting Collections: Developing Number Sense with Fractions
Counting complex collections in the upper grades enriches and deepens our work in developing number concepts and key mathematical properties. This session will focus on why we devote time out of our full math curriculum to count with older students.

344: Catching Students Up on Fractions Without Reteaching
How can we address student learning gaps without reteaching? This session sparks deeper understanding of how the coherent progression in grades 3–5 fractions can be used to address learning gaps without reteaching content of prior grades.
